Case Study: Snyk
Delivering unbiased access, intuitive technology, & efficient workflow solutions for short-term investments
As a fast-growing and leading developer security platform, Snyk has built its business on a strong market reputation for reliability, speed, innovation, and scalability. In the years following its 2015 founding, Snyk has expanded rapidly and as of 2026, operates with ~1,000 employees globally and ~$325mm in annual recurring revenue.
But as most practitioners know from experience, such rapid and sustained growth does not come without its fair share of challenges – particularly within the realm of treasury and finance.
As Snyk has established their global footprint, the treasury function faced an all-too-familiar dilemma: how to evolve from foundational cash, liquidity, and investment processes (which relied heavily on manual workbooks and individual banking portals) towards a more modernized tech infrastructure capable of supporting a fully integrated and automated operating model.
With only a two-person team comprised of Senior Director of Treasury Carla Garcia-Jones and Senior Treasury Manager Matthew Philipps, Snyk began a multi-stage project in 2025 to transform their cash management, liquidity, and short-term investment workflows. One of the major milestones required to achieve this transformation involved implementing Treasury4’s TMS platform alongside the Tradeweb ICD Portal investment platform and establishing a seamless integration between the two systems.
